Dipsh*t suing cause he didn't get a BC-related hat!!!

My friend was the bat girl for this game--another breast cancer survivor, and this link was just posted on one of the BC boards I read. There were a lot of breast cancer survivors who were bat girls for games that weekend, so it had a lot to do with breast cancer awareness. BTW, this is the first and probably last time you will see me cuss in a thread topic (albeit with an censor *), so you know it irritates me.

Not really looking for any action on anyone's part, just wanted to share what has to be one of the most insulting and stupid lawsuits ever. And, there are a lot out there. :)

    What I find funny, is that he is insisting that the hat was a "fishing" hat. Really! Not saying women don't fish, but I bet that most of the women going don't fish and would not call it a fishing hat. He's just a greedy man trying to get his freebe. When its kids day at the stadiums, does he want his mini hat and gloves?

    Just like the article says- its a sad state when you can't just do something nice for no other reason.

    A prime example of whats wrong with society; people taking advantage of the system just because they can, and not because its just.

    My guess is that the fella hasn't had any meaningful contact with a woman's breast!

    I don't think he gives a damn about the freebie. I think this is a problem of him 1) trying to make a stupid, petty, and misguided statement and 2) getting a paycheck. The settlement was $500k with most of it going to lawyer's fees... and he's a lawyer? I think he's coming away with more than a hat here.
