    The title of Alice in Chains upcoming album is BLACK GIVES WAY TO BLUE and will be released in stores and online SEPTEMBER 29TH.

    In touring news, the band has added a handful of very select and intimate headline shows throughout Europe following Sonisphere. This marks the band’s first appearance overseas since the Summer of ’06.

    Anyone meet Ed before the show this tour yet? I met him in DC last year before the show (about 3:30, I think). Was wondering what time he showed up to the venues this tour. I'd like to meet him again.

    I DID TUESDAY NIGHT IN ALBANY! went to his bus at abou 6 and stayed there till 730 then came out... he shook hands with a bunch of people and said hello...

    Thats a big series for us i think. We struggled last year in inter league play,especially against boston.

    yeah, I don't think there is any certain time that he gets there- people have met him at both Albany shows- before and after the show. I've heard that he hasn't been signing anything this tour though when he meets people- just photos and hand shakes :mrgreen:

    I was joking around a couple weeks ago about a possible tour with AIC and PJ similar to what they did in early 1991. With this information, I can't help to think that I may not be so crazy in thinking that an "I-5" tour is possible with PJ as the headliner this time. Am I crazy to think this thought?

    Yea, he wouldn't sign in DC last year. They weren't even allowing pictures but some people like grabbed him into pics. He did shake everyone's hand, though.

    Thats right. Before he came over to us some guy said he wont be signing anthing. I met him after the show like I said. My other friend Jackie met him around 4:10pm Tuesday.

    reminds me of the Yankees suck chants Sox fans used to pull out ... I hated it. I remember a huge "Yankees suck" chant starting a U2 concert in 2001 or so ...

    yeah, I don't think there is any certain time that he gets there- people have met him at both Albany shows- before and after the show. I've heard that he hasn't been signing anything this tour though when he meets people- just photos and hand shakes :mrgreen:
    Thats right. Before he came over to us some guy said he wont be signing anthing. I met him after the show like I said. My other friend Jackie met him around 4:10pm Tuesday.
    from what I've heard, the only time he will sign, take pics,- whatever- is REALLY late after the show after the crowd has gotten a lot smaller around his bus
