Twittering Ed

So am I the only one who is following Ed on Twitter? ( don't ask how I got started)
( And am I a bad mom if I am envious that my daughter is in London as the same time as Pearl Jam? I am just waiting for her friends to say, well she saw a British band in Seattle last summer , now she can see a Seattle band in London ;) )
I told her if she sees them, she better get a picture

    I HIGHLY doubt that's the real EV twittering. Seriously, doesn't seem like the "twittering" type.

    I didn't think it sounded like him- but I know a few people who like it. ( Trent Reznor & Chris Cornell for two)
    I just looked at it initially cause I have a new phone ;) & cause my older daughter uses it- it's fun to see what she posts.

    yeah sorry for my nastiness... twitter has it's uses, keeping in meaningful touch with people, viral marketing if done right, breaking news. I'm just annoyed with the way social networking is going. I think it's cool it is a way to keep in touch with your daughter.

    I often wonder how twitter handles this. how can we know what is official and whats not? there has to be alot of fake profiles twittering in peoples names.

    yep! there's alot of accounts that have been taken down.
    i was following the yeah yeah yeahs & death cab for cuties one's and they were fakes! :|

    EV twitter is definitely NOT official. Until they get a Twitter app for typewriters, I doubt you'll see Ed on Twitter :)

    actually I am relieved it wasn't Ed- some of the posts were inane . It just didn't sound like him.

    I have a hard enough time with Facebook- I had to join it for a college class & finally realized I had to just ignore all the " pokes" and " gifts" and " quizzes" that some people who must have better facility on the keyboard than I do , like to send.
    People! There is a reason I stopped reading Cosmo when I was 18.

    I knew it wasn't him when I saw a post saying "I hope Jeff is ok" and with a link about Jeff being mugged in Atlanta. :?
