Ok Ive been debating either driving down or taking the train into Philly this Friday for show...Anyone else from central Jersey trying to figure out what to do? Which would be cheaper? Faster? Safer? Better experience? Ive only been to the city a couple of times and Im not sure where Upper Darby exactly is. Any info would help! thank you!

honestly if you aren't planning on drinking, its probably best to just drive there and drive back.

  • The tower is right up the street from a train station. Check Septa's schedule to see what runs to 69th street station. I would take the train if possible because there isn't much parking.

Yeah the parking is what im worried about, from what I hear it wont be too safe to walk back at night a couple of blocks to wherever i parked, but im also worried about the cost for that long train ride

People are blowing this out of proportion. It's not that bad during shows. There's a parking lot behind the Tower and a couple blocks up. If it was 1 AM and there wasn't a show going on then it'd be a different story. You'll be fine, but like any big city just always be on your toes.
