PJ seriously stays there? Maybe I'll run into Ed. :) Anyway, it was a REALLY good deal on Priceline.

As I just learned myself, The Meat Puppets show is a free Friday lunchtime (12:00 to 12:45) concert at World Cafe Live , 3025 Walnut Street. It is sponsored by the radio station WXPN .To sign up , go to the WXPN website , http://www.WXPN.org . It's under Free Friday at noon. I RSVPed just before I switched over to the PJ forum page.

I'll be at my usual haunt, The Latham. It's right down from the Sofitel.

I have to work until at least 1:00pm that day, so I'm kind of bummed that I can't go to this. It sounds like a lot of fun but I didn't want to take an entire day off when I'm traveling on the company dime.

  • Sofitel is an amazing place. You won't want to get out of their comfy beds! Latham is pretty decent too.

Hilton Garden Inn is nice enough, but my husband and I stayed there in Feb of last year, and we're pretty sure someone was stabbed in the lobby. When we got back one evening from a day out, there was a roped off section and a pool of blood, and a few cops milling about. Never did get the story on that.

I was pretty sure PJ stayed at the Four Seasons on at least one tour, but it wouldn't surprise me if they've stayed at the Sofitel. It's nice enough and more affordable.

Hotel AKA seems to be a pretty popular place right now too. Jamie Foxx stayed there a few months back.
