Endless Summer

Summer is quite a special time to many of us, starting from when we were little ones in grade school. There was nothing quite like that first day of summer and somehow the season seemed to have the potential to last an eternity, yet it always flashed by so quickly... Anyway, everything amazing seems to happen in summer. Summer romances, summer adventures, summer vacations... You get the picture. Think back to a time in which summer meant everything to you. What was your best summer? What made it the best summer?

I'm not so sure I've had a best summer yet. I really enjoy each and every single one of the summers that pass me and try to make the most out of all of them... Summer of 2006 was pretty amazing for me considering I made a ton of new friends, met my husband, and got to get out of this state for awhile. But I also thoroughly enjoyed the following summer as well since I got married, got to see an amazing Pearl Jam show or two, reconnected with old friends, and got out on my own in a new town. Even though those two summers were special, I still have a feeling one will outdo all of those. I'm thinking this summer is going to top them all :D

    You have some great points. It is like school being out in the summer conditions us to just be happier in the summer from an early age :D

    don't know if i have a fav summer, but back in high school i guess it would have been the summer of 92 or 93 i just remember really being into all this great new music that i was discovering and hanging out with friends going to the beach or river as much as possible and being about 15 at the time hanging out with girls a lot more.

    I just remember feeling like the world was wide open.

    Now i get excited becasue traffic is more bearable in the summer time. :?

    i can't quite say i've had a best summer in particular but ever since i went away to college i feel like i enjoy summer even more. nothing like coming back and seeing the friends you missed and doing some nice relaxing after how stressful school can get
