The Signed/Numbered detail should not be out of 100.

Poster could be real, but the seller maybe added the Signed/Numbered detail to increase the value.

Buyer Beware.

I'm not poster crazy (only have one), but whats the big deal if its fake? As long as the print quality is as good and its the right size, then who cares? I mean it's just a piece of paper. Its not like it has any function or anything that would make a fake version worse.

well the problem with it being a fake is that he will try to get the Original value for it. This poster is pretty expensive. Last one on ebeans went for $450 and some have gone for more than that. The lower the # on it will make some people bid higher on it as well.

Could the same thing be said about an Eddie Vedder autograph?, a Rolex watch?, pair of Nike sneakers?

The problem is if someone knows it is fake it brings the value down. What makes the poster unique and valuable besides the concert experience is the limited quantity, quality of production, and the value attached to where it came from.

When you fake one, then that has the potential to flood the market, bringing the over all value down, quality is usually compromised, and what made it special (ie; it was produced by a favorite artist for a favorite band), goes away.

Fake anything = bad. Unless, it is clearly labeled so. :)
