If you go to the NBC site you can now see PJ play RITFW bonus song from Monday night. If this has already been posted I apologize....

    Yeah, I just went on to watch got some for the 50th time on the NBC site (it seems like all the you tube ones are gone) and noticed the bonus song....... Pretty sweet. It would have been cool to see another song other than RITFW but any new performance is good by me. I have to say, this is definately the most energized Stone has been in a long, long time..

    Im totally convinced the band reads the message boards.

    Matts playing (especially towards the end) was just amazing. He was hitting the cymbals SO much more than usual. Take THAT CJMSTK!!! That was some amazing playing. But I have to admit, his toms sound like GARBAGE, actually I think the whole set sounds like crap to be honest.

    and Mike and Stones guitar tones were AMAZING during the solos, especially Mikes. They are totally ready to tour.

    Great performance. I'm glad to finally see it.

    I just relized that Stone's hair is now getting fairly long. He was even throwing it around during RITFW.

    That's probably why they usually play mellow songs to start a show.

    My first three shows opened with Of the Girl, half of Sometimes (see SF #2 06), and Long Road.

    I made a wishlist (no pun intended) of things I hoped each band member would do for the forthcoming album. I feel like they are making large leaps forward toward fulfilling my personal wishlist. That's a cool feeling, regardless of how unlikely it is that anyone from the band is remotely aware of my wishlist.

    If I remember right, I wrote that I wanted to see Stone animated and desiring to smash a guitar again. He's well on the way. I wanted to see Eddie feel the need to climb something again because the music compelled him to. Things are looking brighter on that horizon. I wanted to hear Jeff's bass and have him come up with some great stuff. I'm feeling it, Jeff. I wanted Matt to unleash whatever he had in him during the Soundgarden days. I see significant progress. I feel it is an encouraging time... now if we can get Ed's power voice back and off the cigs. ;)

    He sounded better than he did during Got Some, but I agree that he was off. However, the band was able to the performance a good one.
