aside from the non-stop problems ive had with that POS in the past its now completely past the point of even functioning...
it gets through the load up and shows the desktop for maybe a minute... then a long error message pops up for a brief second that basically just says "must restart to prevent damage to your computer"... and that happens everytime i try to turn it on
im far from being a tech person :geek: ... anyone here know what might cause this? OF COURSE my 3 year warrenty at best buy just ended 2 weeks ago... its like they plan this! or maybe im just overdue for a new one... but thats not in the budget right now so i have to fix it... or atleast get my music off of it
thanks for any pointers on how to fix it

download the free one and run a full scan ... but again the best way would be to reformat and reinstall .. your pc should have a recovery partion .. if u go back to that it should install everything just like the day u bought it .. if u called the manufacturer like HP, dell or whoever they will tell u how to revert back to that partion its real easy to do ... hope that helps out more later .. good luck
