Ok so Ive been out in Denver for a month now. Yea big deal I know. But dam its been freaking great in so many ways for myself. My health my mind and my body have improved so much and its just the start. Doing this for myself will make everything else I am doing and wanna do with my life, so much better.

Anyway so when I left my dad was back in the hospital. He had a setback but has since been released and been home for 3 weeks now. So it kinda sucked leaving knowing he was not home. BUT this setback might have been a good thing. I'm hearing good info about him and talk 2 him every other day. He sounds alot better and improvements in is walking and such are better. No doubt things are different but he has not given up threw this ordeal that started last September.

So getting to my point and the reason I started this thread. lol :)

I was gonna go back and visit at the end of this month. But my sister called and had a great idea. That I show up the Friday b4 Father's Day and surprise him. She picks me up from the airport and stops by my folks house. Goes inside and tells him she has his Father's Day day gift a few days early. And yup that's right I walk inside and the crowd goes wild. :)

So anyway just wanted to share this GREAT NEWS. Btw tonight I had few PBR's and a smoke and have to go pack now. I'm heading off for a weekend of camping and hiking in the mountains in the morning. Good stuff. :D

    Ok due to a flight situation I'm taking a early flight back tomorrow nite to Milwaukee. I've been gone 2 months yea not a whole lot of time. But long enough in ways. I left a tornado and I'm going back into it. I'm actually a little nervous about going back. lol Looking forward to seeing friends and family. But I can't wait to come back to Denver. :) I love it here so much it fits me well.

    that's the beauty of your situation now....even though it is a bit daunting to go back into that situation, you know you have your own peaceful home to return to! have a good trip :)

    Have a safe trip Patrick! Be sure to update us with all the details on your happy situation! I'm sure you'll have a blast going back there...... and then have a blast coming back to Denver too :D Anyway, have a good trip!

    Got in last nite b4 the heavy rains came. Boy did it pour and the lightening was one heck of a show. My dad thought I was coming back to visit today. But I surprised him and the smile on his face almost made me cry.

    He sleeps with a mask and what is called a c-pap machine. I think I said that wrong but anyway it helps him breath and sleep better at nite. He looks good and I will enjoy my stay here. I will admit it's nice knowing I can go back to Denver in a few weeks. How I do love it here. :)
