Got some is a great song I am sure the studio on the tonight show did not help with the sound quality.

For a sub 3:00 song It feels very complete to me. Sort of like my favorite album opener...Last Exit. I love this song and I think it fits in with the rest of the fast album openers very well.
"Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse...of my innocense, got back my inner sence, baby got it...still got it"
When i first heard " Got Some " on the tonight show .. i was not very happy with it .. but after downloading it and forcing myself to play it over and over ...... and over ... i do think its a good song .. sounds like nothing they have ever done... just wish they would have brought the vocals up a little more ... kinda wondering who sound checked it ... or do u think that's the way they wanted it ??

yea too bad it is that. It has the sound and feel of a song that should be atleast 4 minutes. There are WAY too many 3:-3:30 minute songs by PJ. And even a decent amount that are under 3 minutes.
I'm going to go out on a long limb and guess that Ed biffed some lyrics but overall it sounds complete to me. This song doesn't need to be any longer than it is.
This one and that "other" tune sound very promising so far. Got Some has a Grievance feel to it and then Ed delivers a chorus seemingly as strong as the one in Insignifcance (one of my favorite Ed Chorus')
Super stoked on it so far.
I hope the single is the "other" song or something else though
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”
perfect song,,dont expect anything else than good musi from the band..
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Listen again.

I have to admit I kinda thought this the first time I listened to the song. The music is great, my only gripe is that the lyrics are not very expansive or deep. The chorus is just one line repeated four times, and even the verses are repeated with slight variations. I thought there was the potential for some great verses, even if the chorus is just one line repeated. I like the energy of the song though and should be fun to hear live. If the lyrics on the rest of the album step it up a little bit, you won't hear complaints outa me.
