80's movie night (party idea - need movies)

So after I made the thread "Will PJ play 'Everybody Wants Some'?" I had to buy "Better Off Dead" on DVD. I'm thinking it might be a nice monthly party to have at my house during the summer and fall, an 80's movie night.

What other 80's movies are THAT good? (maybe some 90's movies too).

I can think of a number of movies that are "ok", like "One Crazy Summer", etc... but what other movies are on par with the brilliance that is "Better Off Dead"?

    ah, why did the 80's have so many more good comedies compared to these days? everyone is so critical of that decade, but there was some good stuff happenin back then :)
