Okay smart asses.
Who was it here giving me shit for calling out the "secret meeting of the elite" that happened the other week?
Was it Jlew who posted the bogus cover-story saying this was a "CHARITY" meeting !??!
Here is the straight dope folks,
this was a high level EUGENICS meeting.
Go look it up. Watch Endgame. Get hip to the real world.
DEpopulation is a top level hardcore agenda item for these fuckers.

Billionaire club in bid to curb overpopulation
America's richest people meet to discuss ways of tackling a 'disastrous' environmental, social and industrial threat
SOME of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.
The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.
Described as the Good Club [WHAT A FUCKING JOKE!] by one insider it included David Rockefeller Jr [DOUCHEBAG], the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty, Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York, and the media moguls Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.
These members, along with Gates, have given away more than £45 billion since 1996 to causes ranging from health programmes in developing countries to ghetto schools nearer to home.
They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist [A BIOCHEMIST? WEIRD CHOICE FOR A POLICY MEETING?] and president of the private Rockefeller University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told they were at “security briefings”. [WHY SO SECRET? WTF?]
Stacy Palmer, editor of the Chronicle of Philanthropy, said the summit was unprecedented. “We only learnt about it afterwards, by accident. Normally these people are happy to talk good causes, but this is different – maybe because they don’t want to be seen as a [color=#FF0000global cabal[/color],” he said.
Some details were emerging this weekend, however. The billionaires were each given 15 minutes to present their favourite cause. Over dinner they discussed how they might settle on an “umbrella cause” that could harness their interests.
The issues debated included reforming the supervision of overseas aid spending to setting up rural schools and water systems in developing countries. Taking their cue from Gates they agreed that overpopulation was a priority. [JUST BUILD SOME NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, YOU ASSHOLES.]
This could result in a challenge to some Third World politicians who believe contraception and female education weaken traditional values.
Gates, 53, who is giving away most of his fortune, argued that healthier families, freed from malaria and extreme poverty, would change their habits and have fewer children within half a generation [Its important for YOU to remember that the ONLY reason for the humanitarian "concern" is to REDUCE 3RD WORLD POPULATION - a MAJOR THREAT to elite security].
At a conference in Long Beach, California, last February, he had made similar points. “Official projections say the world’s population will peak at 9.3 billion [up from 6.6 billion today] but with charitable initiatives, such as better reproductive healthcare, we think we can cap that at 8.3 billion,” Gates said then.
Patricia Stonesifer, former chief executive of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which gives more than £2 billion a year to good causes, attended the Rockefeller summit. She said the billionaires met to “discuss how to increase giving” and they intended to “continue the dialogue” over the next few months.
Another guest said there was “nothing as crude as a vote” but a consensus emerged that they would back a strategy in which population growth would be tackled as a potentially disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat. [We already knew this, asshole. See Georgia Guidestones for the obvious]
“This is something so nightmarish that everyone in this group agreed it needs big-brain answers,” said the guest. “They need to be independent of government agencies, which are unable to head off the disaster we all see looming.”
Why all the secrecy? “They wanted to speak rich to rich without worrying anything they said would end up in the newspapers, painting them as an alternative world government,” he said. [WOW. ALTERNATIVE WORLD GOVERNMENT? Isn't that kind've JUMPING THE GUN? I didn't know we HAD a "World Government" ... YET. WTF?]
Pompous assholes.
Great meeting, huh?
Oh, i know. I'm a paranoid nutter, and i just can't see the great humanitarian values this "Good Club" represents for all the fearmongering and insanity i allow to clog my mind. This is TYPICAL ELITE THINK.
And the part about meeting at the home of a Nobel Biochemist is just plain strange. Swine Flu Part Two, anyone?

And I find nothing much offensive in the referenced programs and initiatives hinted at, which seemed to be aimed at health and social issues as well as some good old fashioned prevention programs. Talking about overpopulation does not, I repeat does not, mean "exterminating them" or introducing "a final solution" per se.
Your editorial remarks aside, I found nothing very special about the whole piece actually. You seem to be banking on that supposed ultra-secrecy is damning evidence in itself, and lean on sensationalist, highly questionable and arguable sources and theories to make it seem scary.
It is not very "fuckable" thinking to see that we need to have fewer children in the future globally, and yes, even more so in the "third world" as they are the ones expanding the most. But they want to achieve it through education and social programs. I say "Bravo" on that count. Increasing their lioving standard and awareness so they will, like us, choose to not have so many children. Choice is a great thing.
Talking of overpopulation is not incriminating in itself, neither is not inviting to press conferences whenever people of some means meet.
(edit) 1 further general remark: Having people talking about societal changes, does not imply that they are making the changes happen. Observation and analysis (even the wish) does not equate action.

"Every judgment teeters on the brink of error. To claim absolute knowledge is to become monstrous. Knowledge is an unending adventure at the edge of uncertainty." - Frank Herbert, Dune, 1965
I 100% support their efforts. carry on elite!
On top of that if these elite people were evil and out to get everyone, wouldn't they want the population to increase? I mean a larger population means more people they could exploit and more potential customers to sell there stuff to.
aside - A high level politician came out in SUPPORT of the tobacco industry a few years ago (Austrian?), saying that he thought smoking was a good thing from a healthcare perspective, cause it saved money on the back end...(ie: die younger = less long-term care costs)
Population is a problem that is not addressed often enough.
Driftin - a presentation you posted a while back had a section on population and exponential growth....it projected that we are only a few years from the 'breaking point'....I think it said 10 billion was the max sustainable population for our planet? Putting a bunch of rich capitalists in (private, undisclosed) control of the solution is a bit scary imo...
