Not that it matters to anyone. But the wank ass rock station in St. Louis (the point) doesn't play alot of pearl jam. I heard 7 (thats 7) songs by PJ today at different hours of the day. They played all kinds of shit, including rats this morning... hmmm. Weird. Prolly nothing, but hoping it's a sign.
and love, what a different life had I not had this love with you.

Called em. They said, "The big annoucement about Pointfest (our semi-annual wank ass radio show) is coming up. You didn't hear it from me!"

I said, "Are you implying Pearl Jam is playing Pointfest?"

He said, "You never know... I can't say anything"

    I said "Thanks".

Theres no way they are playing that show.

  • I would just like to say cough *** bullshit *** cough. PJ will not play pointfest. Nor will eddie. It has not been big since pointfest 12.

They have a show in the morning with a kick ass DJ named Donny Fandango. in 2000 he purchased all of the boots. He is a ten club member( or was ). In the morning they play a game called "whats the point" Pj songs are almost always in one or two of them. This morning there was an all pj one. Each song relaters to the other. It was all of the same number tracks off of pearl jam related albums.

If there was a show. It would be eddie or the guys at the the fox or something small.

Pointfest 11 rocked. It was the chili's first show in the states with john back since 92. Hole played. Silverchair played. Blink 182 opened the main stage at 11a.m. as the opener for the show. It was a month before enema came out. I was in the second row and mark and tom made fun of my the entire time. I was 14 and a bit chubby. They called me a sheep f'er the entire show. There was a total of 20 bands and many went one to successful careers. Not all good music, but successful musical careers.

  • A friend of mine said that he also heard a lot of PJ on the radio today in San Francisco. Are we about to hear something regarding a nation wide (excluding the South of course :p ) tour soon? Or does the Clear Channels of the nation all of a sudden want to play PJ? I have to believe the former is more realistic.

A lot of radio stations are starting to hype up Bonnaroo and give away tickets, in the midwest and the south...Hence, more PJ air time..

a very SAD, but true statement

  • Jimmy was old.. still amazing, but he knew that his playing time would be cut short when we bring up Corby Raspmus. He wanted to play his last season entirely in MLB instead of just half. He still has his restaurant here and lives here part time. He will be a guy that comes back and helps out the club as a coach. great player and great guy.

Now Rolen is a horse of a different color.
