also got three different version in audio... mp3, high quality, and sounds like high qual w conan's intro... have yet to figure out which is the best, so i made three seperate audio cds to listen to im my car... each cd with 10 tracks of the same song...

ill be honest .....IT FUCKING ROCKS...at first i said this is NOT a good song.......then after the 16 time....i found myself tapping my foot and wanting to jump and down at Matts bass drum.......at around the 20 mark..i found myself yelling GOT SOME to the guys at work........kinda like big black says DO WORK SON......just before i wrote this played it about three more times in my house windows open and MAX VOLUME....aka.....let me try to knock shit off my walls volume....
i've been meaning to watch it. gotta get that done.

Having said that, i've watched the video about 5 times and haven't listened to the audio version yet. I do think this song is very solid and is going to cook on the album!
I will do my best to not listen again until something else is officially released. This will not be easy :(

Very true. I forgot about the Ed tour (a little bit) since i'm on the west coast. It will be good for us to get our minds off of new PJ for a while. We should get some shows announced within the next month as well.

I know how serious PJ is about sound quality, so I spent about 2-3 hours last night with the HD DVR transfer in GarageBand playing with the EQ, Dynamics and MultiCompressor til my ears were bleeding. As I brought the guitars out a touch more and, yeah, boosted and seperated the bass/drums a touch, I noticed Ed's voice getting stronger!
So then I made my CD with the straight DVR dump, and my mix-down. I did a good job! Ready to drop it into Cubase and get serious!
I LOVE eddie's growl after the first line!!!! "Was he just clearing his throat? I think not ... GRRR!"
And when he stands up on the drum riser, he just looks righteous!
