and the luncheon is going to be at the Blue Rock's stadium...... and I'm gonna miss it.

    shut upppp. im so mad about it. i just want my stupid diploma mailed to me. we are missing the funeral of a life time. and its gonna be in the hall of fame section of the stadium. and the secret service is gonna be there and hes a arriving by helicopter. this is ridiculous. what terrible timing for my graduation

    hehe.... we're just soooo happy you're graduating! One more illness and you'd be celebrating another year as a senior! :lol:

    this reminds me of the scene in Clerks when Randall wants to go to Julie Dwyer's wake because it'll be "the social event of the season" ....

    yeah... in all actuality I don't mind missing it for a happier occasion. I've been to too many funerals in the past year. More surprised at the lengths my family is going for this funeral... he was a simple "thrifty" man so I don't know how much he'd approve... but then again he did LOVE to talk and be the center of attention.

    I feel bad for my Grandmother, this was her last surviving sibling and now she's "alone" in that sense. And to top it off she's not been doing well and can't make it to either... her brother's funeral nor her youngest granddaughter's graduation.
