I cringe at her name choice alone.

She seemed like a complete dumbass on Jonathan Ross' show, so, yeah.

I can stand the acoustic piano + vox version of Poker Face that she did, but that's about it. Plus there's rumors of her being a man.

yeah she's annoying, and usually people like that are just something to look at. she's got an ugly face, so she doesn't even have that going for her. just a completely terrible package altogether.

i originally called it "pa pa pa pa pa pa pearl jam" and tried to sneak it in the Porch section but that idea was quickly twarted.
  • I wouldn't buy her cd or anything, but her songs are fun to dance to when going out clubbing...

They did that at Download festival last summer too. I don't listen to the radio much so watching the webstream of Download was the first time I'd heard Poker Face in any form :P
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    I'm also in that camp.
I actually like the way she dresses (hey, it worked, we all know who she is!) and she does seem kinda sweet. Her album (I didn't buy it, I ripped it from a friend) is actually good to workout too - I wouldn't buy it but I like a few songs on it.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I don't mind Lady GaGa at all. I actually like her somewhat.

She's obviously damn good at writing pop/dance tunes and I can respect that. She's got her own thing and style, which I don't always love or get but I can respect that too.

I don't really know what she's like as a person and I don't really care. What she's like doesn't really affect my enjoyment or unenjoyment of her music.

I haven't bought her album, but listen to it sometimes on Spotify.

she's just another pop act...people have short attention spans and are easily captivated by something "weird" no matter how shitty the music is. it's just more dance music..nothing new.
