ends the 1st set??? wow, they are show closers. what they got left for encores?

  • If you read the post just before yours, it seems they finished the whole show w/ RitFW. The other person must have gotten things a bit garbled.

yeah, this whole sydney set relay, if you can call it that has been the worst of the tour. only getting a song here and there of what people hear. nothing confirmed, no order. only thing we can say for sure is that Why Go opened the show. everything else is a mystery.
    condescending and sarcastic since 1980
  • Here's what we know, in no definite order, except for the first song and the last two:

    Why Go
    Dissident
    Given to Fly
    Small Town
    Last Exit
    Hail, Hail
    Untitled
    MFC
    Light Years
    Whipping
    Porch
Throw Your Arms Around Me (w/ Liam Finn)
    Indifference (w/ Bean 'Ahpah)
    Garden
    Crazy Mary
    Rockin' in the Free World

Safe bet there were one or two (or six or seven) Backspacer songs. And Even Flow and Alive.
And I'd reckon maybe another 4 or 5 on top of that.

someone posted they only played 3 backspacer, unthought, fixa and got sex.

    add to that list

    corduroy
    severed hand
    mankind
    do the evolution
    even flow
    red mosquito
    solat

Sets finished with dte, porch then ritfw.

I know Throw Your Arms Around Me w/Liam was after Indifference w/Ben because I heard them both over the phone and they were about 20-30 minutes apart

I'm pretty sure they didn't play Alive either. My fiancee is still on a concert high at the moment (that great feeling when its all a bit of a blur) so she can't remember the actual setlist but she said there was a guy there bitching because they didn't play it

Just got back, Ed was so sick I dont know how he got through it. His voice was shot but he carried on like a trooper. A real tough set to get through even when hes not sick. He had a spew and a lye down during Crazy Mary then came out to the crowd to personally apologize. Not needed!

Highlights were Dissident, Mankind, Under Pressure,

    More later
Im not supersticious, Im just a littlesticious.
