SURVEY MONKEY RESULTS - LEG 2
Here are leg 2 results. Far fewer people responded and data shows why I believe. I stacked the first four choices for this leg because success decline didn't happen until choice 5 which was different than leg 1
1. Much higher success rate of the first three choices, therefore less interest in finding out 'what happened??'
2. Low demand for Vancouver, Calgary and even LA
3. Seattle was the outlier, along with OKC and Dallas. Perhaps the limited choices in the center of the country drove that dynamic.
4. One thing that stood out across all shows/venues.. Reserve had higher demand overall. Perhaps the GA scared people away, perhaps we are getting old. Either way, keep that in mind if there is a Leg 3.
All results are here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/sr.aspx?sm= ... JxzfvIM_3d
Leg 1 thread here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=211896
It's hard to see, so the stacked graph goes left to right in the order of the shows, with GA coming first.

We're getting old is a nice observation
I agree-more satsfied people = less survey responses
... I'm in the older camp myself, much rather have a place to call my own than get cozy with the masses. No offense
I figured more people would put in for Res, so I went for GA #1 -still a loser both ways!

This was the thread. You can take it, but unless a lot more take it, I won't run the data again. Only if it looks like it would move the number.
Awesome thanks, I just did it. This week the threads leave page 1 in minutes so maybe it got buried too fast for some people. Great idea, and the results are interesting.

thanks!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately that is a limitation of the data which Survey Monkey provides for my membership level. I can't cross reference the data in a way that directly links a specific request to a win/loss. I'm sure if I paid more money a month, I could. Or I could go through every response. Probably not happening.
The other thing to remember is that for many folks, they requested the same show twice in a row, first GA then Reserve or vice versa. They obviously could not win both. So that also skews the data down from a success rate.
can you export the raw data?
Prob could have let that one slide as a lower priority and moved up my seattle choice..
Nice work

Yes, that's how I built those rudimentary graphs. What you see was the limit of the data that was provided. It was actually worse as I had to build new formulas because the online information was actually more than the export.
Van. reserved was my 1st choice and I didn't win. Either demand was higher than this survey shows or reserved tix were quite limited for this show. Won GA tix as my 2nd choice. Anyone out there win Van. reserved as 2nd choice or lower? If so it reveals there is more to the way the lottery works than meets the eye.
Two things:
1. Reserve, I believe at every show, had a higher request rate than GA.
2. Maybe more importantly, I did not get enough results from Leg 2 to be significant. So these results may not play out as accurately as Leg 1 showed.
