    Let's get him a plane ticket and a back-stage pass to see Maroon 5 so he can personally thank Adam Levine for his interest in the drummer position, but the job's already taken. 8-)

    Happy birthday Matt. Great to see him in such good shape after all these years, still kills it on the drums. Impressed with some of the jazzy loose kinda rhythms on one of the new SG songs.

    They brought a cake out on stage for him last night at the Soundgarden show in LA.

    I was watching PJ20 one night last week and I forget what it was exactly, but a Matt question popped up in my head and in Googling it, the top result of his Wiki page noted that his birthday was 11/28, which I realized was the day after the Fonda show. Made a small sign to take with me to the show and as they brought the cake on stage, I took it out to hold up. It was really cool as Matt saw it and gave me a point and a nod to acknowledge it. :D Oh, and they band played an absolutely incredible show on top of that.
