$94 bucks a show. That's crazy.

$94.24 per ticket for the Minneapolis show. Wow!

And that's probably cheaper than some of the other shows.

94 bucks is a lot of money to see one fifth of Pearl Jam.

This show better change my life... or at least be good enough to make me forget how much I paid for it.

The first show I saw was $23 bucks. Come on guys. Dont bash the corporations and big business if you're gonna...

1/5 of Pearl Jam, but 100% of Eddie.

Oh Im still going. I havent seen Ed yet solo and if it isn't as good as Pearl Jam, and he continues to charge Pearl Jam prices, I'll never go again.

It shouldn't cost as much to put on a solo show (logic would say. Im not a musician so this is an assumption) so he shouldn't be charging as much.

I hear ya, and i wish it was cheaper too. If this is your first solo show... then you'll be blown away. Especially if you get Arc.

I saw him twice in 2008.... didn't think twice about going to STL

It's totally worth it. The lack of "Pearl Jam" is made up for by the intimate setting and just seeing Eddie do it all, really. Plus, he still puts on a pretty long show, and most likely you're gonna see him up close.

This is a bargain. Keep in mind that these are small venues. I believe the building probably only seats 2500 people and you're getting the opportunity to see EV.

Lucky for me I have NO desire to see EV solo.

I saw 2/5 of the band from literally 2 feet away this week for 29 bucks (fees included). You don't get a bargain like that every day. But having see the last solo tour, Eddie is worth the dough. I saw the setlist from the other day and it was like 30 songs! And if you didn't respect Eddie as a guitar player before seeing him solo, you will now.

I wouldn't be so hasty to compare the Pearl Jam experience to the Eddie Vedder experience. These are two different entities, and seeing Eddie Vedder is not seeing one fifth of a whole - it is simply seeing Eddie Vedder. If Eddie Vedder's musical repertoire is worth that money to you, so be it. Same goes for if it's not.

for all the crap I have blown $94 on before in my life, this is a no-brainer

  • My opinon this is a bargain to see eddie solo and hear amazing music and funny stories.Plus smaller theatres mean less money coming in to cover tech, stage hands,gas,food,hotel,....etc. So charging $94 in this economy is actually a amazing price for someone who could honestly charge way more. :D

It turned out to be about $85 bucks a piece for MPLS, but i'd of gladly paid more for a little less stress when buying tickets via the 10C website.

Tickets were 109 plus fees here.

I've seen about 20 pj shows, and 6 Ed shows. The Ed solo shows were better than about 16 of those pj shows I've seen. Small theatres, banter, and all killer/no filler. The oz tour was amazing and 94 bucks is a steal.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

Im on the forum almost every day. I never saw one. But as far as VS/Vitalogy being late, those threads are all over, on the very first page of the Porch.

There's a difference. but sorry if you took offense. and you're right. I shouldnt have said anything. Why should I care if someone starts a thread.

That isn't too much money!. In my country (Chile) there are people who pays $350 for a show, just to watch their favourite artist.

The average value of the cheaper ticket here is around $50.

    Bye!

The only thing about your life it will change is that afterwards you will be able to tell your friends you saw Eddie Vedder play solo. It's a great show, but lets not get out of control here.
