Have a friend whose sister is an usher. This is what she told him.

Take it for what its worth.

Personally...i dont buy it given that would be one hell of a long show. But thought I would throw it out there.

I never considered that. Technically...lets say PJ has a permit to play until 2am on Sunday morning. Correct me if I am wrong, but 2am is the time at which clocks are set back. Therefore, at 2am...its really 1am...which should solve any legal issues with them continuing to play.

I kid...but imagine a show that went all night. And then Top Chef came in and catered breakfast for all the fans. That's what Im talkin about.

I guess that's one hell of a way to avoid the world series traffic and the concert traffic leaving at the same rough time afterwards. 2am would be amazingly insane.

i'm imaging right now. it can be done, but with intermissions. say 1h30min set. then 30 min intermission. another 1hr30min set etc... plus if these 'special guest' are to be there, will pass the time. though i would purfer seeing pearl jam breaking out the table tennis then see this rumor bon jovi special guest thing.

free breakfast for all, served by this lovely lady from top chef?

Oh man, im having deja vu all over again. FOr bruce's last ever show at giants stadium there were all kinds of rumors on his message board. Giants stadium workers were on call till 1am, bruce signed a permit to be allowed to play till 130, mick jagger and eric clatpon were gonna be special guests, etc.

No special guests and the show ended around 1130, 3 hours and 15 minutes after it started. Not exactly the 4 1/2 hour play till 1am marathon people were saying might happen.

It's going to be my catch all response to these silly threads propagating on the Porch.

  • If this is true then it would be awesome but I just can't see Pearl Jam playing until 2 a.m. This might just be wishful thinking on our part. :)

I'm informed by my sis in the know that the ushers received the same warning for the last Bruce show which did, in fact, go long.

I can't see Pearl Jam playing until 2am but there's no way this thing ends at curfew.
