Pearl Jam - Leeds - August 25th

HELLO JAMILY, I'm new here so hello!

I'm trying to find out if anyone is going to the first day of the leeds festival - august 25th and wants to meet up, I missed out on the astoria gig but wasn't going to miss this one. The rest of the line-up doesn't look that great so lets make a pj day!

ill be camping all weekend, im gonna get there thursday around dinnertime, to get my usual spot on the red field (the one on top of the hill), so ill be up for a beer and a smoke, then im gonna move up to the front before placebo i guess

me and my two friends who also love pj are going for the friday! cant wait! gonna be up at the front from about 6pm so im there for pj. went ot leeds last year and to get a good spot for foo fighters i was at the front from about 6pm and i was at the centre front for the rest of the night.

man audioslave playing before pj would have been so awsome! espeically if chris came out with pj n played hunger stirke!

My boyf is totally chuffed with the lineup - he's a huge Slayer and Mastodon fan - ARGH! Whole day is a bit crap - apart from LTJ and PJ!

I'm not that arsed about Audioslave playing - I loved Soundgarden but I think Chris Cornell has lost it now! Just don't like that band! (Don't kill me!)

Wasnt that at the oldplace, Temple Newsam or whatever it was called?

Though it had switched venues to another country park place.

Either way, me and the missus are there. Also giving a ride to a German jammer from the board who is meeting up with us in Dublin and then Italy.

nah, theres a red field thats up a hill (again) its facing near a big row of shops and one of the wristband exchanges,
if you walk in through the main campsite enterance (not too sure which one it is) walk foreward, and take your first left, then another left, you'll see a big hill, wlk up there and thats the field im on, a few jammers on here saw me last year (but didnt say hello :( )

ill show you where it is sometime in the future, 'cos im gonna upload a shit load of leeds photos for my mates blog thing

anyway peeps, if your going , we need to keep this thread going, ill have beer (but feel free to bring some of your own !) and make sure we meet up

Hi all, like many other brits this is my first u.k. pearl jam show after waiting several years (will be seeing them for first time in dublin). It will be great to sort this one out so we can all meet up, and also funny to see average joes faces when they realise how good pj fans are.
