She was so great on A Prairie Home Companion with Jack White a couple months back. Hoping to see her in Asheville.
Indeed. I'm Lonely But I Ain't Lonely Yet was awesome on there (as was Carolina Drama, sans Margo).
I saw her here in Philly right after the election and Leonard Cohen passing - great, great show, but a ton of weightiness to it. Both on the stage and in the crowd (they came out to Hallelujah). Her covers of Passing Through, plus Bobby McGhee, and a handul of others, were perfect for the rest of her set. Definitely check her out.

Yes, anything Jack White does is genius in my eyes.
I first saw MP on CBS Saturday Morning, last year I think. Recently I got my brother listening to her and now he's obsessed. Kind of a nice change from his Courtney Barnett obsession.

He's really good. I saw him open for Amanda Shires in Portland last November without a backing band and have heard his EP since then. Looking forward to his upcoming album.

Was also able to get a picture with her after the show.
I don't know if that says something more about my wife or me, haha...
