Had a beautiful '06 August Briggs Syrah on Friday as a celebration for some good news. Awesome wine when it softened up after decanting for a half hour.

Went out with a bang on NYE with:

    '06 Arista Pinot Noir (Longbow)
    '08 Morgan Pinot Noir

and for our midnight bottle of champage: Veuve Clicquot

Wasn't a cheap night, but it was well worth it. Both pinots were stunning, and the Veuve always speaks for itself.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"

    Fucking forgot about this thread

A nice cheap Grenache. Really good stuff, especially for the price.

Got a solid thing going in my basement at the moment. Maybe 35 bottles or so, half of which were shipped home from Italy.

Malbec was my first love man. The wife used to go to Buenos Aries maybe 3 times a year for work and would bring back some solid solid wine. Little malbec’d out at this point because of it but some Fucking memories

not familiar with skeleton but am a huuuge Fucking fan of liter bottles. Magnum is too big for two on an average night and a 750 is too small.

I've been sick for most of the last week and was working all yesterday and last night.

Tonight, I'm making pizza and cracking open a bottle of red. Tonight I will have wine.

Yes! I tried the Carnivor last weekend and it was very nice. I'm sipping on some Chateau St Michelle chardonnay, nothing fancy but decent, and watching the Panthers game right now. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon ;)

I’ve enjoyed some Chateau Ste Michelle as well, though it was some of their other whites.

Nothing special, but a half way decent bottle of Cali Zinfandel has become a go to
