Just gotta hope that the front that Weather.com is showing right now as hitting Chicago smack dab at the start of the show either comes in very early or comes in late

Forecasters are now discussing two waves of rain, one in the morning and one in the evening. The chance of thunder and possibly severe weather has increased with the second wave.

The headaches the weather is causing people who are attending is the best argument for returning to indoor arenas for future shows. The stadium thing was cool but I think everyone who wanted to do it has had their chance. Time to do a proper indoor tour.

Fingers crossed, but after living through ‘13, I have a feeling we will get music no matter what.
I hope you’re right

In ‘13 the weather cleared up right after the storm. This time around we got over 12 hours potential of bad weather

2013 was awful. Nothing like being stuck in 90 degree Wrigley in the concourse for 2 hours while it stormed out. That wAs an awful night
I remember my low point for the evening in that broiling, sweaty concourse as the storm roared outside - after waiting in a concession line that mysteriously didn't move for over an hour, I just had to sit down on the filthy Wrigley floor and gnaw on a stale soft pretzel before I fainted from hunger.
Big difference between 13 and 18 - 13 was on a Friday. Can’t be playing at 1:30 on a weekday. Just don’t see Chicago doing this. Based on the most recent report I just saw (wife works for local news here) I hate to say but it’s looking real much like the show will be cancelled tomorrow night and refunds will be issued based on weather.
Why would you think cancelation and not moved to Tuesday?
Because Cubs are back Thursday. It takes a lot to get the field back and ready to play.
They could do that. The tarp would have been over the field anyway. More concerning financially would be if they cancel after people can’t cancel rooms within 24 hours. Some of those rooms are 300+

Certainly a concern for some fans - sadly not very much a concern for the decision makers on if to let a show occur or not.

I did Wrigley in 2013. Haven't been to an outdoor PJ show since (though in fairness, I haven't had many opportunities), but I did go to Seattle this year, and knowing that roof was there definitely played a role in my picking those shows.
words seem so out of place.

I didn't go to any of the Home Away tour because: 1. Our daughter is starting high school and it ran time too close. We did that with school in 2016 and it was a pain. 2. August weather. Hot. Humid. Stormy.
We discussed it. We had a great time. However, we're holding for arenas.
I think an announcement is a reasonable request at this point as my flight leaves Monday morning. If they are not going to reschedule for Tuesday if Monday gets rained out I'd love to know before I get on the plane in the morning. If they are going to try Tuesday I need to make plans to stay another night.
They're not going to postpone the event today guys. They'll wait till tomorrow - probably even tomorrow afternoon - to determine if the wind and lightening (the key factors here) will be sufficient enough to postpone the show or if they'll actually be able to play through rain (which they'd do w/o heavy wind and lightening)

It's not a jinx, it's good vibes! Hope! What else do we have? I still have to hear Leash! And Can't Keep! And Gimme Some Truth! And Force of Nature! I'll keep going. Just get greedy. Greedy with hope!
