    If you can't drill in the arctic then where can you drill? Seems like an ideal place to me.

    Because there is a treaty in place preventing any drilling the place is full of resources enough to last a life time !

    Should the title of this thread be changed to no "no drilling for oil in Antartica" . Because I believe they have drilled the Arctic in the past and may still be harvesting oil in the Arctic. I know there are countries doing research in the Arctic searching for oil.

    Greenpeace have launched the Save the Arctic Project since the melting Arctic is under threat from oil drilling, industrial fishing and conflict.

    I recently watched the Black Ice documentary with members of Greenpeace (not from the Arctic 30) in attendance. During the Q&A session followed the screening, they did mention Antarctica.
