Stormy Daniels sues President Trump over alleged affair and 'hush' agreement

Given everything we know, I don't see why this would matter to anyone at all. It's not like it's going to affect his approval rating, lol, or his status as POTUS, or anyone else's life.

Nope.  This is nothing.  I myself don't care.  Famous people having extramarital affairs?  Next.

the payment may have violated campaign laws

let's see tRump testify like clinton did during lewinsky and try not to perjure himself.

I do have a hard time believing his attorney payed her off with $130,000 of his own money and did not say a word to anyone.

But I don't want this to be key in bringing him down, anyway.
I am not picky about how he's brought down, lol.

I find it interesting how much focus Trump gets.  The problem isn't remotely trump.  The crux of the problem is how someone like Trump can become POTUS.  That's what you have to fix.  Let's be real here - the other GOP nominees were also morons.  You get rid of Trump and then they replace him with fucking Ted Nugent or James Woods.

Trump is but a symbol of what truly ails America.

It's as if the US has been exposed. Don't get me wrong... there are so many fantastic people there; but there are also 60 million morons that have weakly defend themselves stating 'different values' when they should be professing 'moral bankruptcy'.

I see the problem as ignorance and bigotry. Combine that with low voter turnout and here we are. trump embodies the first two and became an option for certain voters because of the cynicism that comes from believing all politicians are corrupt.

Its what 27 years of Faux News, consolodation of news media and 40 years of repubes attacking public, primary and secondary education results in. And what egotistical, narcacists with an axe to grind can do. Read up on Rupert Murdoch and what "motivated" him to become what he is, POS.

it's true. the head of the snake always gets the attention. but it's no better on the other side. the amount of people who wanted Oprah to run in 2020 after that awards show was staggering and disturbing. at least she knew she isn't remotely qualified to do it. leave it to the people who understand policy, not just "how to run a business".

But people thinking someone good in business should be a successful President is a result of our culture being enamored with profiteering and attributing all these postive traits with business success. It’s how trump’s deeply rooted personality flaws got downplayed, because how can someone that successful be such a POS?

agreed. but it's also just wanting to be lead by someone who you are familiar with. the infatuation in our culture of celebrity is gross. to think celebrities are any more qualified than a normal human (because that's what they are) is ludicrous. I have no idea why people put them on a pedestal.

I wouldn't want Ed to be president either.

Trump is but a symbol of what truly ails America.
it's true. the head of the snake always gets the attention. but it's no better on the other side. the amount of people who wanted Oprah to run in 2020 after that awards show was staggering and disturbing. at least she knew she isn't remotely qualified to do it. leave it to the people who understand policy, not just "how to run a business".

    Qualified?

Haha, I think that boat has sailed!

I hope it hasn't.  That's why I could never support someone like Oprah. Yes, she's more able than Trump to be professional and non-embarrassing.  She's less likely to make it about herself.  And I probably prefer her stances on 95% of issues.  But she's just as unqualified. If she or any of the other similar names (Mark Cuban (though the Mavs story kills his chance), Mark Zuckerberg, etc.) were to get the Dem nomination, I would have to abstain from voting Democrat.  Because I can't help perpetuate the idea of this office becoming a popularity contest for the unqualified.  I'd almost rather Trump win so we don't have two consecutive novelty presidents and we could hopefully right the ship.

Yea, it’s not like he invited the women of Congress, women leaders of the business world, and prominent women from the arts and hosted a luncheon or dinner where he was the only male in the room, worked the room and then thanked them for their contributions to society and laid out a plan for increasing the ranks of women in stem programs and jobs, equal pay for equal work and a goal to hire more women to work in his administration. Not that he’d ever do that, mind you, when he can just tweet and not lose his executive time.
