that's not too bad. although it might be easier/cheaper to fly i would think. tickets from philly to boston are about $140. not sure how much tolls are to there. leaning towards flying though. also need a place to stay

The tolls were less than $10 each way if memory serves me right. If you are going solo, flying might work for you. But think of all the pre-parties and after parties you are missing! Plus if you stay right there you have a chance of meeting one of the guys. My 13 yo kid got to shake EVs hand after night 1.
Coming from Baltimore for night 2 only. Plan is to fly in early (arriving around 9-10am), and fly out first thing in the morning. Probably hit a bar and head right over to the airport. Have flights out on a southwest as early as 5:40 am. Round trip will only be around $130. Done deal for me.

Nice price! Little more understandable for you too, 7 hour car ride is a little different then 515.
I hope to hit up a Baltimore PJ arena show next year. Only been to Baltimore for baseball and wrestling.
I drove up in 2016. I only went to Boston-2. I drove up & back in the same day/night. Took me about 6 1/2 hours to drive up and a little more then 5 hours to drive back home. Traffic was bad in the North Jersey/NY Area driving up.
I'll be driving up and back again this year. Going to both shows. I'm leaning on leaving right after the Tuesday show, if i'm up for it. Traffic is NO problem driving at that time of night.
I live in Philly, gonna take the train from 30th station.
You won't have to go all the way to South Station. Get off at Back Bay, walk a block over to Copley Square and pickup the green line outbound. It'll bring you right to Kenmore Square and Fenway.
Definitely need to hit Tree house if you can. Trillium is close behind. Had some other half last week and it was great! You can buy Night shift at almost any liquor store so that is easy to grab.
Having said that, go there later in the day and you won't wait an hour in line (and be able to drink some of their amazing beers on tap). They pioneered the whole hazy IPA style that's going nuts with their Julius - really special brews. Trillium just as good, too, IMO.

While we're on my favorite subject (beer), if you're headed for beer on the way back, definitely stop for a pint at arguably the best beer bar in Mass (in Worcester). One of the few places you'll see regular Hill Farmstead on draft, and always a killer taplist: http://armsbyabbey.com/draftbottles/

Ive gotten BOS-PHL on JetBlue for as low as 42$ each way before. They always seem to run sales, maybe hold out for a couple months and see what happens to airline prices.

Sucks (for me) Treehouse only appears to be open Wed-Sat?
They've been having random Tuesday openings as well, they're taking off so quickly who knows where they could be come September. If the time comes and you can't make it there, PM me. I will be moving somewhere in-between Worcester and Boston this summer (depending on where I match residency) so I can help get some cans in your hands.
