Nope...was thinking about it, but when I saw the rest of the bands featured... decided to pass!! I'm sure it will be a GREAT time, just not enough quality supporting acts to justify the expense for me!!

Gary Clark Jr is amazing live, seen him a few times. Excited to see Carl's band.
I've seen Gary Clark Jr. as well... He's not someone I'd travel to see!!
I thought Band of Horses would get you there, Dave

That would've got me there... I wanted to go so bad last year, but just couldn't swing it with my work schedule!! I see BOH is doing the Avett Brothers event this year... Think it's even at the same resort!!

I'll be there again. This is a no brainer trip for me every year. They could have random 10 clubbers perform with them and it won't matter. I think when it's all said and done over however many years, last year's lineup will be the best they've ever assembled though.
Im not going because it cost too much for me, but passing on this because of the lineup is beyond silly. That's like choosing not to go to a concert because you dont like the opening band. This isnt lollapalooza. It's all about mmj and an all inclusive resort vacation. Anything else is just a bonus.
I agree with Lifted, Gary Clark Jr was a super bonus, but you can't go wrong with a three night run of MMJ at a resort with no one else except other fans.

It's not silly to me. I've gone to shows to specifically see the opening band... even left before the headliner a few times, because I was just there to see the opening act. I did 9 MMJ shows last year(including Red Rocks) and didn't spend anything close to what it costs to attend OBH. If there aren't any other bands there that I enjoy listening to, it's just not worth traveling to Mexico. I'm not really a beach / resort person either, but would've considered going if there were other groups I liked performing at this event. I hope those that are going have a GREAT time... it's just not an appealing line up for me this year.

Agree. I'm sure it's great but I'm not spending that much money to go to Mexico. I'd rather travel somewhere else to see them like I did twice last year.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
I'm really looking forward to it. Saw them at red rocks twice this year, once last year, with other shows sprinkled in. Was in OKC when they debuted their amazing kickass Purple Rain tribute to Prince, and I just couldn't imagine saying yea, I would go but the openers aren't that good. It's a MMJ fan holiday event. Either you like MMJ enough to want to go, or you don't and need something extra. I'm beyond excited. Could you imagine what the cost would be if Pearl Jam tried to pull something off like that?
Idc if it's just MMJ for 3 nights and they charge me for 6 days. I'll pay every single dollar they ask because this is the hands down greatest experience of all time. It can't come soon enough.

That's what I'm talking about! Me and the ol' lady are so excited. Would love to meet a fellow ten clubber there, first few drinks are on me
I'm going. Been listening to Deer Tick a lot lately -- wasn't into them prior to the lineup announcement, but they are pretty awesome. Looking forward to seeing them live

yeah...deer tick is bad ass

We are in for the 3rd time! We got married in Jan., so we always go away somewhere warm that time of year, so it works for us. We are not all inclusive type of people, we would never spend as much as we do for OBH, but MMJ makes it worth it. And this year GCJr is bonus, as we weren't BOH fans.
