Didn't appreciate it until hearing it live, absolutely love it now! Got to hear it again in Quebec City

Funny how a song doesn't do much for you, but when you see it live you do fall in love....for me:
Wrigley 2013: Hold On (always skipped this one on Lost Dogs for some reason), Setting Forth
Worcester #1: Lightning Bolt (being in the front row and seeing them jam out at the end with Ed right in front of me was surreal), Indifference (never realized what a great closer this was until this night)
Fenway #1: Masters of War, Fast Patriot, Strangest Tribe (what a chilling, spooky version), I've Got A Feeling
Fenway #2: Deep (not a big Ten fan, so I never really gave this song a chance...this was badass live)
Wrigley #2: Surrender (never really heard this song until this show, love it!)
What a great, great tour. In my opinion the quality of the shows went up a few notches in the past few years (not that they weren't the best in the business before anyway). I'm going to miss the Lightning Bolt era, but you still always look forward to what's next
1. Lightning Bolt, Pittsburgh 2013. First time I had heard it at all (I didn't listen to the album stream the week leading up to the tour). 2. Of The Girl, Pittsburgh 2013 & Cincinnati 14. Only two times I have seen it live; it really resonated with me both times.
Worcester 1 - Fatal Worcester 2 - Otherside Quebec - You are Toronto 2 - Alone Fenway 1 - Masters of War Fenway 2 - Jeremy ( never cared for this song much live but loved this version/crowd reaction) Wrigley 2 - Black Red Yellow
Wrigley 2013 - Lightning Bolt... (seemed like a good Bruce Springsteen 'ish song) - - Really dig this song live... also Pendulum is awesome, and Getaway! - - I wish they would get the arrangement down better for playing it live, heard it in Charlotte when they premiered it, and it was good, but have heard other live versions that seemed a little "off"

Low Light at Wrigley 1. It just so happened my Yield vinyl showed up when I get home and I have worn that track out.

Masters of War, Chicago 1. I had heard of it but had never heard it, and it blew me away.
Now, I know it isn't strictly a PJ song, but the OP didn't specify a PJ song. If you had, OP, I think I would have gone for Sad in QC.
Yes, me too. I've re-watched that song on YouTube so many times because McCready at the end is just in another world. It's not a Pearl Jam original but that doesn't preclude the passion they have for playing it.
Baltimore '13 - Pendulum GCF '15 - Unthought Known (always liked it but this was a great performance) Wrigley 8/20/16 - Low Light
Great call on Unthought Known! GCF sold me on it as well.

I was thrilled to hear Deep at Fenway 2....it was one of the songs on my wish list.
However, the song that blew me away, and that I've found myself playing over and over since that night was In Hiding (again, Fenway 2). Great song...but hearing it live was beyond amazing. I can't stop listening.

It officially became one of my top 3 favorite live PJ songs once I experienced it in person.

You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
