But I actually bought a sealed Give Way with the original front and back stickers some months ago from a US seller that was using the global shipping program too.. So, since I live in Italy, I just asked him in advance to put the value at about $15 on customs form (that was obviously not what I paid for it), and received it quite fast and with no taxes.. most sellers will agree to do that.
''Give Way is a promotional live CD created for the release of Single Video Theory. It contains 17 tracks (70 minutes) of their performance from Melbourne, Australia on March 5th, 1998 & included an 8 page booklet. It was intended to be given away for free to the first customers purchasing the video from Best Buy stores. The day before the release, the CD’s were recalled and destroyed by Sony. Supposedly this promotion was not properly cleared with the label and/or the band. Best Buy had run a full page add about the release in it’s Sunday circular and when fans lined up at the doors to get their free CD, Best Buy was forced to give away any CD of choice for free with purchase of Single Video Theory. Of the 50,000 CD’s pressed, most copies were destroyed and it is rumored Best Buy was threatened with a $10,000 fine for each unreturned disc. Despite that, a number of copies surfaced over the years (impossible to exactly determine how much of them are survived, but a good guess would be at least 150's-200's, probably more).
This cd has been professionally mixed / mastered & although it's not the complete show the audio quality is far superior to any other source available including the pre-fm Sony promo.''
Just playing devil's advocate, I think most of you collectors are nuts!
