What do you see?

I've shown this photo to several friends. This is an echinacea flower growing in my front flower bed. I looked at it as a puckery flower, much like what I would expect if lemon juice were dropped in the middle. SD48277 asked me to pose the question-- What do you see?

We'll continue this on as a photo discussion. Post photos (all ages stuff, y'all) and we'll critique and discuss.

I see a boat, but I'm having a hard time finding the little man in it.

  • Yes, big lips on a flower. It looks like they have a stubble. Huh.

This boat that I see floats on a nice current. Still don't see the little man.

Although, sometimes you have to root around a bit to find the little man. I find it's best to do this gingerly. If you find him too fast, the current gets restless.

A flower pretending to be both a folded caterpillar and a butterfly.
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

    The beginning of a smile.....

Last night while driving to work I saw a truck pulling over to help a family. Being curious I looked over to get the name on the truck that had a odd design......it said.......Camel Towing. I thought that was catchy....the odd design was a camel doing something I couldn't make out.
