"After a grueling tour to support their Binaural album Pearl Jam took a year long break and reconvened to begin work on a new album in the beginning of 2002. Riot Act was released in November of 2002, displaying the band’s diversity, with songs reflective of folk and experimental rock influences.... "

    Well said. Hubs and I love this song so much that we engraved it into our wedding bands. It is "our" song, so to speak :) I was over the moon when I fist heard it played live in Berlin last year.

    i would say this song perhaps most of all gives Riot Act that 'experimental' feel. can't believe its been almost 13 years now...i'm getting old.

    I heard You Are 4 times so far, including 3 shows in a row at one point. One of my top 10 PJ songs ever. I was also there the last time it was played (ACL 2) but I hope that changes soon!

    Totally off this topic. But, I have been amazed at how awesome Matt has been playin on the 2014 bootlegs. He was bangin those drums on the Moline show. Just listen to Porch if you need proof. Anyway, love You are its an amazing song.
