Lost Dogs 2 , is it a possibility?
Hearing Lost Dogs right now and it got me thinking , will we ever see a new album of b-sides?
Does the band even have enough material to do another double album of B-Sides? to this day this album still amazes me , i wish many bands out there would have A-Sides (?) with the quality of these B-sides lol

So Lost Dogs 2: Revenge of the Lost Dogs, could include Riot Act outakes as well.
Sweet! lets keep this thread going
Double Bump!
They probably have enough material to fill LD2.0, but it's all stuff we already have. I don't think they have much leftover material from the last decade for more and I don't need a bunch of demo's and rough sketches to fill out the album.
Same with the Beatles anthologies. Hearing how those songs we all know and love and heard countless times before in such a raw, vulnerable state is powerful. The evolution of Strawberry Fields is amazing! Wilco' Alpha Mike Foxtrot is fantastic too. If PJ did something like that, I would shit my pants.
Not to mention there's still left over studio tracks from the pre riot act era. Com'on studio Baba
Ole?
Crapshoot?
Of the Earth?
the thing about b sides.........there's no point in releasing b sides with singles anymore. nobody buys the singles to begin with. unless you want the $0.08 you get from iTunes on the sale of a digital track. the band would be better off releasing their unreleased stuff on their own and make 100% off the sale, instead of 8%, or whatever the actual figure is.

Pre-Lost Dogs stuff that comes to mind includes:
Leatherman
Olympic Platinum
Happy When I'm Crying
Angel
I know they aren't always songs, but scrape the bottom of the barrel and put Ramblings 1, 2, and 3 on there
Then after Lost Dogs:
Ole
Of The Earth (if there is a studio version)
I'm Still Here (spoken word)
They could also just include a second disc of instrumentals. The two instrumentals from Touring Band 2000 (Foldback and Harmony) are good, well conceived tracks. Alternatively, they could have a second disc of songs that only were ever recorded live and might not have seen the studio, things like Untitled or Out of My Mind.
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
A thought a few years ago the band, or Brendan, or even Kelly Curtis said they said they did not have enough fully finished songs for another B-sides. That may have changed by now.

I don't mind the rough drafts and that kinda stuff, but that's different to me than a Lost Dogs type release. I'd snag a demos collection, but it has to be true building blocks type stuff. Like the stuff the Beatles put out with Anthology or the stuff that Floyd put out with their reissues a few years ago. I don't want stuff that slightly less finished versions of the studio tracks. I love Zeppelin's new reissue, but they could improve a lot on the bonus material they've included. Some cool stuff buttery hit or miss for my taste.

when Brendan has stated that the band basically has nothing left to release, this quote from Mike suggests otherwise:
"This is a good compilation of all the rarities," he adds, "but we have vaults and vaults of this stuff."
