No offense, but I'd rather pay my city combined water bill. As long as you like it, but I agree that $85 seems a little steep.

I'm surprised to see this. The original design was by Number (N)ine, which are the pictures @demetrios posted. He is a Japanese designer who quit the Number (N)ine brand in 2009 (or sold it perhaps) so anything new with those Mickey images have nothing to do with him. Also pretty sure those were "limited". Not sure who these guys are in the pre-sale link.

Just wanted to post for those who are thinking of buying. As a collector myself, I'd hate for you to spend a bunch of money on a knock-off. I don't see Number (N)ine mentioned anywhere in the pre-sale link. It may very well be legit, but you may want to do a little research first.

Yeah these were released a good 6 weeks ago, and were 'only' $50 plus shipping.

I picked one up and got the tambourine one which looks real smart too.

I swear if Ed endorsed a supermarket chain for example, people on here would only ever go that supermarket!!

I would believe that a good number of folk buying these are into Disney, however the exposure provided by Ed just directed people to a product they liked but otherwise would never have known they existed.

I don't think anyone is buying these because they think its based off Ed or inspired by Ed or endorsed by Ed

People are buying this and discussing this on a pearl jam message board because ed wore it. Ed could rock a mock turtle neck at a concert and people would go out and buy them.

What about one of those shirts with muscles on it or one with tuxedo bow tie. If he rocked that at a show, there would be more sales for those shirts, huh?? :))

I don't have a poly-sci or marketing degree, but as sure as i can point out why Obama got 93% of the black vote, I can also pinpoint why a Pearl Jam fanatic would buy a chunk of plastic posed as Eddie Vedder.

To me it doesn't even look like an "Eddie pose." The only time Eddie really sings like that is when he's reading the words off the floor/monitor and has to see closer.

I am high as a kite right now and usually I like almost anything when I'm this high, but i'd have to have my arm broken and my jaw dislocated with the threat of more pain coming before I would even think of spending money on this.
