Pre-order the double LP release of the album Ten by Pearl Jam on 120 gram Coke-Bottle Clear Vinyl. This exclusive pressing is limited* to only 2000 pieces, with foil stamp numbering. Newbury Comics and The Pearl Jam 'Ten Club' will each have 1000 pieces available for sale.

    I stopped to think about it for a minute and the fact that 1,000 of these sold out individually on this site is insane.

    Its absolutely a load of cr@# why bother even sending it out when it will be sold out before people even get to read the email! They should send out a date for the lresale which would allow everyone at least a chance to try and get one :'(

    Yeah its a strange release. KInda glad I got home late and missed this otherwise I probably would have ordered one and then had buyers remorse later.

    That really bugs me when people do that. I think it's a way to try and trick less observant people into bidding before they realize what the shipping price is. [-X

    To be fair, all NCs reissues don't make much sense other then to lure hardcore collectors like this. All of these reissues are readily available for much cheaper than the variant. But people flip the fuck out for colored vinyl.

    The thing that really hurts is on the Newbury Comics site at least they weren't just sold individually - read the fine print: "This pre-ordered vinyl exclusive is limited to (5) per customer and will be available while supplies last."

    WTF! We all know the only reason anyone would buy five copies of a limited release.

    Even limited to one per customer they would have sold out long before we wake up on this side of the globe.

    I wouldn't even mind missing out on most of the limited releases, if I at least had a chance to try and get the occasional one, but this is "starting" to get ridiculous!

    I haven't managed to score a single limited release since the blue/green version of Nothing as It Seems back in frigin' 2000!!! So far that's my first and only one - and Ten Club has been my home page since the early days of Synergy!!!

    Give us some warning before the pre-sales to give as all a chance or stop waving these things under our noses!

    BTW while I'm at it - what's the point of a pre-sale for something that will sell out immediately anyway... isn't that just the sale?! :P

    Really? Because I had a dispute recently on Ebay, and, while I was told by the resolution centre to return the item and I had to pay for that return shipping myself, the seller was told they had to refund the full amount to me, including the shipping.
