What do you guys use to listen to your PJ vinyl? I have a Rotel intergrated amplifier, Quad Speakers, Technics turntable and a set of Sennheiser over the ear head phones. For non-vinyl set up - I also have a Mac book, IPOD and Sennheiser in-earbuds too...

Hi buck!
Well, it's my first turntable so nothing to compare it to, but I love it!!! I think it sounds great. The Audyssey Dynamic EQ on my Onkyo receiver which I think helps as well...
And Oppo...I love love love the player. It plays FLAC files which is perfect for boots!!
Looks like you have a pretty sweet setup also!!
Turntable: Denon dp-300f w/ Orotofon Red Cartridge
Speakers - Energy Take Classic 5.1 (pretty good for small apartment sized speakers).
Other Inputs:
Popcorn A-400 Networked Media Tank - I use this to play FLAC on my home stereo (as well as videos). It's networked to the pc and pretty much everything else.
Playstation 3 - It can do Super Audio CD's or Bluray (DTS) Audio, although I don't have many of those.
If I ever get a house I'd like to get bigger speakers. Maybe even a dedicate receiver for the record player so I can have a Stereo setup for the turntable and surround for the tv
How do you like the Denon?
Phonostage: NAD PP 3i Digital Phono Preamplifier
Turntable: Older Sanyo with a bronze Ortofon cartridge
Speakers: Klipsch Reference Series RF-82 II tower speakers
Just got the phonostage today and the amp a few weeks ago. I am very impressed with the amp and cd's sound incredible on this thing. I would highly recommend it to people. Black Crowes Croweology, Radiohead Hail to the Thief, and Ray Lamontagne and the Pariah Dogs sound out of this world.
Nice setup! I bet Hail To The Thief sounds great. I have it too
Love that Croweology Vinyl!
& those Klipsch speakers
+1
(I picked up the Crowes' Wiser For The Time box LP, they sound incredible on vinyl)

sub is Jl audio 10w3v3 in a sealed box.
I really like it. I was looking at the Rega-Rp1 and Pro-Ject Carbon but was a bit put off by the fact they are completely manual turntables. I then went looking for a used Technics SL-1200 but they're getting pretty expensive for a used player.
I was doing a lot of googling and came across the Denon. Most of the reviews were very positive but they all had one thing to say. The stock cartridge is rubbish. I found on the NeedleDoctor website that they had a package that was a Denon with an upgraded cartridge (Ortofon Red?). So I've never heard the stock cartridge.
I really like the turntable. My turntable history was a Sony I borrowed from my grandparents. It must of been really high end and purchased in the late 70s or early 80s. It sounded really good. Then they wanted it back, so I bought the cheapest one I could find which was a $99 Sony, which didn't sound nearly as good. The Denon sounds a lot better than than the $99 Sony.
I think I found the perfect balance between price, functionality, and sound quality. The need to manually adjust the belt every time I want to switch from 45rpm to 33rpm completely annoys me (especially with these audiophile grade 12" records that come out in 45rpm). Having an automatic turntable with decent quality is a win
edit: I should also note I haven't tried the built in preamp in the Denon table. I'm still using my cheap $50 external preamp.
Polk Audio RTi A1 speakers.
Pioneer VSX-521 Amp.
Rega RP1 turntable.
Apple iMac and iTouch.
Very happy with the main set up, sounds really good playing vinyl and watching DVD's. Need a new iPod though as I plug it into the car stereo, but it's a 16GB and can store only a portion of my music files. Thinking of getting Apple TV too...
