thanks bud, ever see you at a show, the drinks are on me
I will be at Wrigley. Tell me where to meet you
sorry, I am aiming for London, but if they do add a date at Chicago Theatre around Wrigley I would definitely go there instead, I use to live down the street from Wrigley and have been there so many time, cannot imagine how the show would sound as good, although this sounds pretty damn good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QQ3tSgOXpA

k. Love Vs. Love the whole album. Had a rough around the edges feel from 10.
k. Love Vs. Immortality and Betterman are songs I perform. Love the whole album though. Had a rough around the edges feel from previoous PJ albums.
I personally love the rough edges on Vs it really was the most grunge album Pearl Jam put out, even though I hate that label, I think the whole album is great, although if they had kept Hard To Imagine instead of Glorified G, I think it would of made the final release stronger, but that is the only minor criticism I could levy, although Glorified G has grown on me over the years, took me a while to really get that song
SNL is about one of the last known videos of Dave A. I think the band is better without him, just my opinion, because it is much easier to hear Eddie's voice, it seemed like Dave was always drumming over Eddie's voice, not so much in this video, but overall, to me, both Jack and Matt give us a chance to hear Eddie's voice more clearly, of course that is my opinion
Daughter and Elderly Woman are easily in the top ten songs ever written by PJ but I love almost every song on this album except for Rearviewmirror. A lot of fans will think I'm crazy but I just never dug this tune at all. They had a great sound going on this record that I think they explored more on Vitalogy with songs like Nothingman, but it seems they got much more into garage punk after this, which I never enjoyed as much (ie Hail,Hail, Save You and a lot of Backspacer.

Oh and why in god's name Hard to Imagine never made it on an album is just a bloody crime.
agreed, and on your previous post, even though I disagree on Rearviewmirror, I totally agree with most everything else, but music is art and opinions will differ because of interpretation, I love Backspacer except Johnny Guitar, easily one of the 5 worst songs Pearl Jam has ever made
I always try to include bonuses in my threads for people who read them, if you have this already cool, most PJ fans have seen it, but if you don't have it here it is for easy reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIFA1-Asw-w
I don't think Dave threw his sticks / punched a hole in his snare drum. I believe when BOB was interviewed on PJ Radio I had The Rob ask about this via the chat session, and he had no recollection of this ever happening.
at the end of rearviewmirror, you can hear the sticks hit the walls of the drum room.

I've always heard that's true. Only one way to find out.
