This is a poster I rescued from my sister. She had it taped and thumb tacked to her bedroom wall. It has a LOT of damage. I am thinking about having it professionally restored, but I don't know if it will ever really be worth anything. I have been searching the internet and I have yet to run across another one like it. It is a full-size poster that came from a local record store back in 1994 or 1995(I think).

I hope you can see them good enough in my pics. Sorry, I did the best I could.

I've seen it in a few other forms like a magazine fold out. Just not as a poster.

I have this poster and bought it in 95. Mine is kinda beat up too, not as bad as your sister's though. I was always curious if it had any value. Good luck with your search!!!

Hm. I've never seen that one. I think it'd be cool just to frame it the way it is. Gives it personality. Maybe dry mount it but that'd be it.

I used to have a HUGE version of this, but sadly it got beaten up and abused in college. It was AWESOME.

I had this poster. It was about 36" tall if I recall correctly. Was in college and had it in my office, around 1994.

One sold on ebay about 6 months ago for maybe $10 or $20. I don't know if it is an Epic/Sony authorized one or a bootleg - but I want to say it was a bootleg one, even though it mentions the album sales. I also saw an alternate version of this poster on ebay, and it had the photo of the album on the bottom of it I believe.

If the value ends up being insignificant and you just are looking to flatten it, it may be a candidate for drymounting, however when paper is so distressed that it is bubbling (and the fibers are stretched) then there's the possibility that in the pressure of a drymount press that a bubble can form, and then form a permanent crease. But the rest would be virtually flat, except for where the paper is damaged (creases, etc).

    Hope this helps.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

That is SO freaking awesome to see what my poster COULD look like. Just seeing another one of these in general is really cool. As for whether or not it is a boot or an authorized- I don't know, but it makes no difference to me. In a way, I like the way it looks because it was really from the local record store and came from when PJ were arguably at the height of their popularity AND it hung up on the wall in the house when us kids were in high school(I was a seinor at the time- my sisters are all younger than I am). Once I convinced my sister to let me have it,It became the very first piece of my PJ collection and by far my favorite. Thanks to all who helped me out with this. :D

    .

The post card I bought back in '94 for this was around 5 bucks. Will check this weekend but on the back it had that Epic/Sony logo & all. Sony promo cards. There were so many bootlegged Pearl Jam products during this time period. Shirts, posters etc.. that I even used to see at the carnival. There used to be games where you would try to throw a dart and hit a small balloon at which poster you would want to win. There were many rock n roll prints, especially Pearl Jam one's but you could tell they were all bootlegs cause on the bottom of their prints were these unheard company names not even related to Epic/Sony.
