Thoughts on new board / PJ
This is my first post here. I'm pumped for the new album but have some mixed thoughts about the small stuff
1) I think pay to post is no good at all. Why would they risk alienating part of their most die hard fansbase. I thought it was bad enough when only members could buy certain stuff, but half the old board posters have left and I'm sure they are not happy about it. It seems a little suffocating in here somehow, and way less diverse.
I'm not going to say anything about principles, but why create a bad feeling with some fans when you want to release a new album right around the corner?
2) The rerelease idea seems really good, why not? I can't wait for the later alums to get the treatment, but I suspect the project will lose steam before Yeild and Binaural, if any others get released at all.
3) Self releasing an album is a great idea, I'm sure they will get a deal for distribtution.
4) The last tour - A1
5) DEEP - LAst one was decent, still love getting them and the summer single should rock. A mixtape of favourite tunes from the band would rock and be so easy for them.
6) New look here - ok, no problem with change, can't fault the last few but no sense fighting change.
7) Digi release - Keep the 45 singles and disc singles off the new record coming. World WW would have been cool to own a hard copy of.
8) Jack Irons second disc is due in 09-10, the sooner the better.
9) If you need a copy of TONE pm me and its yours for postage, sealed (bought four, two as gifts, two for me, but found its appeal a little 'selective'.)
