i haven't seen the boyz since 1991 at the catalyst in santa cruz. i'm giving myself a little present by taking a trip to the bay area next weekend for the santa cruz, san francisco, and petaluma shows! i'm going to the shows with a couple of my deadhead friends that i turned on to the meat puppets back in 1990. anybody else here dig the "brothers" meat?

I honestly think Meat Puppets II is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

I've only ever heard Backwater and Nirvana's covers at Unplugged. Backwater is one of the best songs of the 90s though.

I only have Meat Puppets II but it's badass
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
