Bush has even alienated his Saudi buddies with his sweeping wand blaming millions for the actions of a very small group - completely destroying trust and key relationship - and creating deep new enemies...

What miracle circumstance will turn this around?

Are you kidding? How has he alienated them? Are you aware of teh nature of their relationship in the first place?

Even if he had, that would be a good thing. Saudi arabia gives protection money to terrorist groups that end up financing a lot fo their activities.

So you'll be happy to see the U.S completely isolated in the world and becomemore of an international pariah than it is already, completely outside international law - something akin to Nazi Germany?

The only way we could alienate Saudi Arabia is a stock market crash and collapse of the economy

or by ending support fro their very repressive monarchy...or by ending arms shipments-in the hundreds of millions-or by getting our oil from somewhere else-oir any combination of the above.

And serously, we should be supporting a democracy in that nation, not the saudi royals who are reaping the benefit of the very poor majority. Actually that's a pretty common story.

    The names…can be changed
But the place…is still the same

Do you know how much of this country is owned by the Saudi's. Not invested in, not traded with, owned. The fate of Saudi Arabia is tired with our own. There isn't much we can do about it now.
