Help!
I've lost my Deep magazine with the yummy Banana Bread recipe inside.
Does anyone have it?

    Banana Bread

    1 egg
    3/4 C. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 bananas, mashed fine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tst. salt

    Beat egg in bowl; add sugar and butter. Cream mixture together; add mashed bananas and vanilla. Mix all together. Sift flour, soda and salt; add to banana mixture and stir until well blended. Turn into 6x10 in. loaf pan. Bake at 325 to 350 from 45-50 minutes. This recipe never fails.

    The beautiful thing about this thread is that is searchable via google...easy to find when the craving for this recipe hits and your books are in still in boxes. YUM!

    Ha, good thread bump! I've made this recipe a bunch of times. It is a good, basic and most importantly foolproof banana bread recipe. I've got a few bananas at home right now. I think I'll make this tonight.

    Still have that ripped out page from Deep. In hindsight it seemed a good idea at the time but perhaps could have shifted Deep issue 1 on eBay by now.
