And so the cycle ends.
And yet, each ending is a renewal,
Giving birth to a new cycle.
And I feel like I've been here,
Seen these things before,
A million times. Maybe more.
And oh, how I feel
Like I can never handle
Any of this another time.
And yet, there it is again...
The path that leads me
Down. Always, always down.
And at first, I am confused...
Why must I be filled with hope?
With anticipation? With well-being?
And still, it is just a cycle,
A repetition of things before.
And so the cycle ends.
