Title says it all. Democrat and Republican candidates in Vermont surprise everybody at the end of a debate by covering this track. Just a beautiful piece on Sunday Morning. My mistake about Society being written by EV. Still well worth a look.

I always thought Jerry Hannan wrote Society for Eddie Vedder to sing for the soundtrack. I never really thought of it as a cover just not a song Eddie wrote for himself.

Pretty sure he wrote it and was later asked to contribute it to the soundtrack in a duet with Ed.

My mistake guys/girls. I recognized the song at once this morning and while I knew there were some covers on ITW and mentioned as much to the Mrs., I went to look for the CD in my burgeoning (messy) collection to check who wrote it and couldn’t find my CD and so checked Wiki and I was sure it said Song by EV and made my original post. My mistake! Don’t let my gaffe stop you from checking out a great segment in these troubling times from CBS Sunday Morning and a still of course great cover song.
