    As a father and if I was an inmate no I would not.  I think the important thing to remember with this is that it would be voluntary and some serious thought would probably have to be done by the inmate to do it. I believe the intention is to have certain people leave prison not being burdened with children in their already hard life.


    edit - I just realized the irony that I am posting from an imaginary jail cell.  Even in an online jail I still would not do it to get out early.  Aug 4th is my release date and I certainly would not get a vasectomy if it meant an early release.
