Digital Music Library Storage

Does anyone have recommendations for digital music storage? I've always just kept my music on the local C drive but want to expand my collection and need a trustworthy external. Willing to invest in something worthwhile.

I'd keep an eye on https://slickdeals.net/ for deals on external HDs (I just ordered this:https://slickdeals.net/f/10049636-4tb-wd-easystore-external-usb-3-0-hard-drive-black-89-99-free-shipping). I keep my music copied across 3 HDs. Also consider backing up to the cloud (I use https://www.crashplan.com/en-us/).

Check out iBroadcast. I've started uploading my music there. Unlimited storage, plays multiple formats (MP3, FLAC, etc...) , iPhone and Android apps for your smartphone. Plays on any computer. All of your music is then stored offsite, in the cloud, separate from any physical copies you have archived on hard drives or burned to DVD_Rs. So it is an offsite storage platform with music streaming capabilities. And if you download anything from your iBroadcast library to a computer, it will download in the original format (upload FLAC, download FLAC), unlike Google Play which will download a compressed version of whatever you upload. The best part about iBroadcast is the price: Free!

I bought a 1TB external hard drive (more than I'll ever need, but at the time was the best deal). I think mine is a Western Digital. No complaints about its performance. I've made backups of all my CDs, store my bootlegs, and backup my iTunes on it.
