Framing question

Have an artist signed print. Signature is on bottom so close to edge that overlap of mat would cover it. So had the framer float mount it, but edges came out a little ruffled. Framer suggested giving it more time to flatten. Gave it a week and tried again, still some small ruffling (maybe wavy is a better word).

Any suggestions? Framer offered some sort of heat press but I don't trust that with the print.

Hmmm.... when i frame prints I only have an 1/8 of an inch overlap of the mat on each side of the print. You really don't need a lot of over lap to hold the print. Maybe try using a regular mat but make the opening larger so you see most of the signature.
