Any validity to this rumor?

Sorry if this has been posted before. Seems kind of suspect that this was written Jan 20th and I've heard nothing since. Basically a rumor of an album in April and tour next year

    Yeah doesn't make sense to tour a year and a half after releasing a new album. Also you'd think we'd hear something about an album being released in, you know, 2 months

    Not a chance in hell of an album in April. It takes probably at least 7 months just for production now. If they're considering an album, I'd be shocked (in a good way) if we saw it before 2018.

    it doesnt take 7 months to produce an album lol its not done on tape or vinyl lol come on now. you can do an album in a week/weekend... foo fighter did it in their garage or the last one recorded it on a bus hahaha. it woukd take nothing for them to hit the studio, remix it all and drop an album in a month.

    Yes, an album can be done that quickly. I have my doubts that there is anything valid here. I personally hope the band takes their time in the studio. A short production time would make one think it's garage rockers without much experimentation...and I'm not hoping for an album full of rockers. More Infallible and Pendulum, please.
